Bio

Cristina Bracamontes is a Mexican American sound designer, recordist, engineer, and editor who graduated with a degree in Cinema from San Francisco State University in 2020. She is best known for her work Pillow which won Best Student Film at the Nuova Academia delle Belle Arti (NABA) in 2020. Bracamontes, who is of Mexican descent, is fluent in both Spanish and English and enjoys working on projects in both languages. Her favorite films include Museo 2018, Black Swan 2010, Ben-Hur 1959, Memories of Murder 2003, and Parasite 2019. Aside from her work in sound, she is also a skilled cinematographer and photographer.
